MOD can mobilize men who have not served in the army

The third wave of mobilization may cover military reservists who have not served in the army.

This was announced at the briefing by the deputy chief of the mobilization department of the Ministry of Defence Oleksandr Pravdyvets, LigaBiznesInform reported.

Pravdyvets noted that, first of all, they would call up military reservists of the first class trained in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and having a military profession. 

Commenting on the decision to raise the age limit for soldiers to 60 years, Pravdyvets said that no one is going to call up elderly people. It was done in order to legalize and provide welfare for volunteers of appropriate age who are serving in the ​​ATO area in volunteer units. According to him, mostly, the age of recruits would be in the range of 25-40 years.

Recall, July 22, the Parliament passed the law approving the decree of the President of Ukraine "On the partial mobilization" within the framework of the antiterrorist operation submitted by Monday, July 21 by Petro Poroshenko.

Today, the Law of Ukraine "On Approval of the Decree of the President of Ukraine "On the partial mobilization" was published in the official publication of the Parliament "Holos Ukrainy".

March 17, the Parliament approved the first presidential decree on partial mobilization. 20,000 people were called up to the Armed Forces, another 20,000 – to the National Guard. On May 6, the decree on the second line of the partial mobilization was signed.
