‘Miss and Mister of Euro 2012’ will be determined in Uzhgorod

The press conference of the ‘Festival to the Euro 2012 opening in Uzhgorod’ organizers was held in Uzhgorod press club today, on May 23.

The festival co-organizers Nazar Diord and Yevgen Bibikov told that the event organization idea which is dedicated to the Football European Championship appeared because the absence of any football events and youth do not want Euro 2012 passed our city.

 The cultural region and city administration and benefactors supported the festival organization. The event starts at the ‘Spartak’ stadium on June 1. There will be held the children’s football tournament in which the teams of children who was born in Ukraine, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland will participate.

The festival will continue in the regional Musical Drama Theater on June 2, where the unusual beauty contest ‘Miss and Mister of Euro 2012’ will take place. Seven couples aged from 15 up to 24 years will compete in the contest victory. The event choreographer Ishtvan Fedio told that at first he took the idea of another beauty contest holding skeptically, but then he saw that it was significantly different from others.  In particular, he promised that the audience will not see the youth with the model appearance on the stage, because the show organizers elected the participants not by their appearance, but by their energy, cheerfulness and temper during the casting.

It is interesting that the beauty contest participants’ outputs will be exclusively in the sports style, in addition, girls and boys will show their choreographic skills.
