Ministry of Emergencies ‘decontaminated’ the river Uzh (VIDEO)

This year the river Uzh will be, if not safe, but certainly not too dangerous. The Ministry of Emergencies brigade has begun the decontamination of the river’s bottom. Although they did not find anything interesting, except of the cans and a few pieces of wood, but still, it has to be cleaned. The current condition of the river’s bottom is explained by the fact that the same works on cleaning were carried out in the previous year.

Citizens are also pleased that the river is to be cleaned. They say that they were glad to hear that they the beach will be in Uzhgorod, but still were afraid to go there because of the ‘underwater surprises’. But now they are waiting for good weather and drive on the beach! It is very good that it is located in the city center you can pop out and take a dip even during the lunch break.

Some visitors of the local ‘resorts’ say that they would better conducted this cleaning in a month, when the season of quay barbecue and broken bottles will start. But who knows, maybe this year Uzh will be cleaned twice.
