Military commissars of the region invite to contract service

Today, professionals are needed in the Armed Forces of Ukraine more than ever. The conflict in eastern Ukraine and Ukrainians’ pro-European views lead to the need for new officers to work for the state and its citizens. At the military commissariats of our region, there is a need for specialists from among persons subject to military service, or citizens called up to military commissariats during the partial mobilization, who wish to continue the contract service in the military commissariat.

This is stated by the military commissar of Transcarpathian region Colonel Ivan Vasyltsyun:

"Today there is an urgent need for soldiers who are willing to work in military commissariats of Transcarpathian region, because soldiers, called up to the Transcarpathian regional military commissariat, Uzhgorod joint city and district military commissariat, and district military commissariats in our region, will be demobilized soon"

Military commissariats are local military bodies to ensure compliance with the legislation on military duty and military service, mobilization training and mobilization of human and transport resources in the territory for a special period.

The tasks of military commissariats are conducting conscription of citizens for military service in peacetime and wartime, ensuring the selection of candidates for military service under the contract, participation in the selection of citizens for service in the Armed Forces Reserve, preparation and conducting of mobilization of human and transport resources for a special period, social and legal protection of military personnel, people subject to military service and reservists called up for training at the Armed Forces, veterans of war and military service, military pensioners and their families, participation in military-patriotic education of citizens, implementation of activities for preparation and conducting of the territorial defense, and other defense measures in accordance with the law.
