Markevich ignored the press conference after the match with “Goverla”

The head coach of Dnipropetrovsk "Dnipro" Myron Markevich ignored the press conference after yesterday’s match of the 1st round of the championship of Ukraine against Uzhgorod "Goverla" (1:1).

Instead of the head coach, his assistant Oleksandr Ivanov came to talk with journalists, although he could not clearly explain what had caused this rotation.

"I do not know why Markevich did not come to the conference. They told me to come, so I’m here.

As for the match, playing with "Goverla" has always been difficult for us, so this was expected. Also, the weather affected the game. The field was crumpled, but, of course, we should have played better.

We did not underestimate the opponent. Perhaps, hard training affected the game. We had flights, serious rivals. And this is only the first match of the season, so it was difficult" – the UA-Football quoted Ivanov.
