March 15, the anniversary of the Carpathian Ukraine, was declared a holiday in Transcarpathia

On that day, the anniversary in the independence of Carpathian Ukraine will be celebrated in the region,  the Mukachevo.net informs.

The corresponding decree was signed at the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, adding that this is one of the most important dates in the history of Transcarpathia, therefore it deserves to be a holiday.

However, the working day of March 15 shall be carried over to one of the Saturdays of April, when the traditional spring cleaning will be held in the region.
