Make way for spring!

Spring is coming. And neither icy wind whistling, nor night frost will stop the growth of snowdrops that are stubbornly making their way to the sun. Soon it will be warm, and Uzhgorod streets will be flooded with cyclists. Bicycle "maniacs" have already started preparation for the next season.

The nearest Night Ride is scheduled for May. In this period, weather conditions allow to plan and organize mass riding. The Varosh asked the initiator of the bicycle movement Vita Munchak about innovations of the new season. So, the next cycling season will bring:

• new interesting system by which cyclists will be able to know the exact location of the pelethon and to get information on what is happening during the ride;
• the opportunity to decide on the type of rides – entertainment or social. In addition, each cyclist, who is a social network user, will be able to participate in planning of routes;
• trips outside the city. Mountain trips of various degrees of complexity;
• trips abroad. Currently we are working with certain organizations in Slovakia and Hungary, planning convenient routes, mostly family type and weekend tours;
• more awareness of all road users on proper movement through the city streets.
