The 236-page book "Graphic Art of Transcarpathia in the Second Half of the 20th Century. Stages of Development, Style Features" by the artist, lecturer of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts Ivan Nebesnyk was published by Uzhgorod’s "Oleksandra Harkusha Publishing House". This is a scientific art monograph, which is based on the dissertation that the author was writing for almost 10 years, and which he defended in 2016 at the Lviv National Academy of Arts.
One of the biggest advantages of the work is that most of the material was collected by Ivan Nebesnyk Jr. personally from artists, and a significant part is based on his interviews, which proves the novelty and relevance of this work. And most importantly – this is the first systematic overview of the graphic art of Transcarpathia.
The book has already caused quite a stir, it is already being bought, although the presentations are still to take place. "I am grateful to the publishers for their help, especially in terms of technical details and holistic aesthetics," – the author said.
