Local budgets of Transcarpathia received 396.6 million hryvnias of taxes

Between January and April of this year, 396,646,000 UAH of taxes and fees have been paid to local budgets of Transcarpathian region. This is 2.4 million hryvnias more than that in the last year during the same period (the revenues amounted to 394.2 million hryvnias).

In April of this year, local budgets have received 103.4 million hryvnias of taxes. This is 536,300 UAH more than that in April of the last year.

In particular, in April, they have received 78.3 million hryvnias of individual income tax; more than 13 million hryvnias of single tax, and nearly 6.8 million hryvnias of land tax. Also in April, enterprises of the region transferred 232 million hryvnias of single social contribution.

– Timely payment of taxes is a key to sustainable budget and a way to improve the well-being of every citizen. Local budget revenues are the financial basis of local self-governments and a crucial factor for regional development. Therefore, in my opinion, timely paid taxes make up local budget revenues that support the economic independence of local authorities, stimulate their economic activity, allowing them to develop infrastructure and expand the financial potential of the district, – Oleksiy Petrichenko, the Acting Head of the Main Office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region said.
