Today, the Khust District Brynza festival began in the village of Horinchevo in the "Na toku" tract, the ProZahid informs. This is the first festival in Ukraine, which was founded by shepherds. The organizer of the festival is the association "Traditional Khust District Brynza".
As planned, more than 1000 sheep from 3 farms were gathered at the festival. They became the main heroes of the event.
The guests learned about the life of the shepherds, had an opportunity to chat with them.
At the Brynza Festival, visitors had a chance to taste the freshest sheep budz and vurda and, of course, to see how they are made. The sheep are milked right at the venue. Fresh sheep and goat milk is sold there. Visitors were offered to taste cheese, which is cooked right there according to the old technology – "like in the mountains."
