Today, in the medical and social rehabilitation center "Way of Life", there was an open day with the participation of the employees of the Transcarpathian Regional Library for Children and Youth. The librarians gave children books, toys and candy.
The charity event "Give a child a book" is traditionally held in the department for preschool children and students of grades 1-4 to raise funds to purchase books for students of the MSRC "Way of Life". As experience shows, neither young readers, nor their parents, not teachers and library workers themselves remain indifferent to the initiative, in addition to cash contributions they also bring their books and toys.
The campaign is perpetual, so anyone can join anytime. Librarians deliver book gifts not only on this day, but also on children’s holidays and for other occasions.
