Lawsuits of Derkach have been rejected by court

Representatives of the candidate of the Party of Regions are looking for reasons to challenge the election results, but to no avail.
Expert predicted that the campaign in the Khust constituency would be as fierce as that in Svalyava, Hungarian and Uzhgorod constituencies.
However, on the election day and the day before the situation was quiet and calm there. Observers, including international, community activists, and journalists reported no violations in the 71st constituency. Moreover, there were no complaints from representatives of competing political forces.
However, after processing of 100% of ballots and announcement of the election results, the pro-government candidate Stepan Derkach suddenly found reasons to challenge the results in court. 

Baloha Pavlo Ivanovich, political party United Center – 35.91%, or 23,045 votes

Derkach Stepan Tiberiyovych Party of Regions – 34.42%, or 22,089 votes 

The purpose is clear: to compensate for the difference in less than a thousand votes.
Therefore, on behalf of the candidate’s representative two claims concerning the illegal actions of commissioners at stations 188 and 198 have been filed with the Irshava District Court.
In one of the applications it was mentioned that representative of the candidate from PR was not allowed to the meeting of commissioners, and during the vote, he could not be present at the polling station. However, during the trial all the charges were confuted. If anything it was three unauthorized women and not commission memners who did not let the claimant to the polling station on the election day. That was confirmed personally by the representative of the candidate. Thus, the court rejected the first claim.
Another lawsuit concerned the station in the village of Osiy: according to the same representative of the candidate from the PR, they closed the door to the voting room for him. However, as it was revealed in the course of the trial, the door of which the plaintiff wrote, did not and had never even existed. Therefore, the court rejected this claim too.
It is possible that this is not the last statement of claim from Stepan Derkach’s team. It is possible that they will appeal even outside the region.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, along with trials in the Irshava district court, the Transcarpathian Party of Regions members announced mobilization in order to change the results in the 71th Khust constituency by any means.
Thus, many people and police have been concentrated at the PEC in the constituency 71. Representatives of the United Center, including the deputy and the uncontested winner in the neighbouring, 72th constituency Vasyl Petyovka, also came to defend the results – informed Zakarpattya online according to the information of Mukachevo.net.
