Korytnyany team “Postup” won the gold medals of the European Veteran Games

The team from Uzhgorod district, representing Transcarpathia for the first time, triumphed at the IV European Veteran Games. 
 The competitions in 32 sports were held in Turin, Italy. Football club "Postup" (Korytnyany) competed in football in the 55+ age category. 
In the final match, the team from Uzhgorod beat the Italian "Evergreen" with the score 4:1. 
According to the club founder and president Emil Hrytsishche, “the fans asked us to try to win at least bronze awards. I replied: "We will try to win gold". 
And so they did! Congratulations, the winners!
