Knyazev is satisfied with Transcarpathian policemen – he says, “the elections took place smoothly”

Transcarpathian police are satisfied with themselves. Namely, with their work during the second round of the elections in Uzhgorod. Thus, Colonel Serhiy Knyazev, the chief of the police in the region, thanked the subordinates for their work. The police office informs:

Sunday, November 15, was quite stressful for Uzhgorod. The second round of the mayoral election took place in the regional center of Transcarpathia.

The election process, albeit accompanied by reports of mining of three polling stations, in general went smoothly. Because our policemen ensured law and order during the elections.

People in uniform were fully committed to the work, being on duty for days, far away from home, often without even a minute of break.

There were some unpleasant moments caused by the behavior of some voters. But thanks to the dedication and the proper performance of their duties by our police officers, the elections took place in accordance with the law, without complications and gross violations.

The acting chief of the police in Transcarpathian region Serhiy Knyazev expressed his gratitude to the police officers for their diligent work.

Recall that 350 Transcarpathian policemen were on duty at polling stations, 300 – on the streets, two hundred – in investigative and rapid response teams. Another 300 were in reserve.
