As we reported earlier, the famous French actor Jean Reno plans to finish his acting career, and for the last time will star in a film, part of which will be shot in Transcarpathia. Near the lake Synevyr, everything has already been prepared for the shooting, and even a house for the film "The Last Step" was erected. This was informed by Transcarpathian tour guide Oleg Turko.
Today, the chairman of the State Cinema Committee of Ukraine, Pylyp Illyenko, wrote on his Facebook page about the arrival of the actor to Ukraine: "I had the privilege to personally welcome Jean Reno upon his arrival in the Carpathians for shooting of the Ukrainian-French film "The Last Step". The collaboration with stars of this magnitude is the next stage in the development of our film industry and a testimony to the level of our professionalism."
The shooting will take place in the Carpathians (on the Lake Synevyr), in Kyiv, New York and Canada. The genre of the movie "The Last Step" is psychological thriller.
The release of the movie is scheduled for 2019.
