Ivan Baloha attended the First Bell holiday in Mukachevo

62 first-graders went to school at the educational complex "Harmonia" in Mukachevo, which on the occasion of the holiday was visited by the Chairman of the Regional Council Ivan Baloha.

    This is one of the largest educational institutions in the city. currently, more than 500 students study at the "Harmonia" complex. Pupils of the institution, starting from kindergarten, learn a foreign language, attend classes in choreography. For first-graders, there is a lunch and day naps. Students of the complex have lessons in light, spacious rooms and are able to use modern information technology and computers while studying.
Graduates continue their education at elite universities in Ukraine and abroad.
       According to the headmaster Yaroslav Zhyhan, the complex keeps the good old traditions, started at the school, and contributes to the development of new ones, since time does not stand still and demands from today’s graduates more preparation for independent life. Currently, the educational complex "Harmonia" employs 60 professional teachers who do everything possible to make pupils and students feel comfortable and interesting.

The official line up started at 8:30 sharp. Pupils and teachers were congratulated on the Day of Knowledge, wished new achievements. 

 Addressing to all the participants of the holiday, the chairman of the regional council Ivan Baloha said that the country needs educated citizens who can realize themselves more fully in life.
     "For many of you this holiday opens a new chapter of life, where everything is really for the first time – the first bell, the first teacher, the first lesson. I am sure that teachers will do anything in order to give children quality education. We, parents, will contribute to this. With these children we will build a strong independent European Ukraine. We all truly believe in this" – the Regional Council Chairman Ivan Baloha addressed the students and teachers.

After that, the chairman of the council gave all first-graders school supplies. Congratulations of first-graders takes place as part of the charity campaign "With love and care for children", which was initiated 8 years ago by Victor Baloha.

Finally, the school first-graders were given the honorable right to ring the first bell. The first lesson on "Ukraine is united country" took place in renovated rooms.
