It’s not a flood yet, but… The water level in the TIsa near Chop is rising

Today, on December 25th, on the Tisa River near the city of Chop, Transcarpathian region, an increase of water level up to 1.3 meters is expected, the Rescue Service warns.

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, on December 25 on the Tisa – the city of  Chop, a low flood wave will come from the upper reaches with the rise in the water level by 0,8 – 1,3 m, without negative consequences, the statement reads.
