Investment coins are a good alternative for long-term investment

There are many options for preservation and augmentation of money. But for a long time the most reliable type of investment has been an investment in gold and silver. It is recognized that this is the most popular "asset protection" for investors as investment in securities is too risky, and the fate of foreign currencies, such as the dollar and the euro, is a big question.

Now every Ukrainian can buy gold in the form of, for example, bullions and investment coins that are currently very popular. Within seven months in 2013, they have sold 19,540 investment coins while for the whole 2012 only 17,740 coins were sold. 

Investment coins of Ukraine is a special group of modern monetary products produced by the National Bank of Ukraine and intended for investing money of individuals and businesses. These coins are made of gold or silver of the highest international standards: for gold – 999.9, for silver – 999.9.

Investment coins of Ukraine have many advantages compared to investment coins of other banks in the world. Firstly, Ukrainian investment coins are exempt from taxation, while at the beginning of last year, the VAT on the purchase of foreign coins was introduced. As a result, Ukrainian coins are almost 20% cheaper than foreign coins. Secondly, any person may buy these coins at banks of Ukraine. Similarly, if you wish, you can sell them, profiting on the difference in price if the price of precious metals in the world market rises. Thus, it is possible to re-sale Ukrainian investment coins. Such guarantees do not apply to other coins. Thirdly, there is a wide network of points where you can buy or sell them. The National Bank is constantly working to increase the number of such sales points, negotiating with banks with an extensive branch network. Finally, investment coins are a reliable tool of investment (savings) of funds that does not depend on the economic situation and is a reliable alternative to foreign currency. 

Currently there are five denominations of Ukrainian investment coins, four of which are minted in gold, and one – in silver.
