Instrumental trio “FLAUTANDO” will perform in the Philharmonic (ANNOUNCEMENT)

On April 24, the instrumental trio "FLAUTANDO" from Khmelnytsky Regional Philharmonic will visit Uzhgorod for the first time.

The trio is comprised of the winners of all-Ukrainian and international competitions Olga Malik (violin), Taras Malik (flute) and Maxim Zavodny (guitar). All members of the band graduated from the Lviv National Music Academy, are soloist of the Khmelnytsky Regional Philharmonic, and each of them regularly performs with the Philharmonic Academic Symphony and Chamber Orchestras. And this ensemble was formed in 2010.

 "Flautando" is a regular participant of such prestigious music forums as "Bartok+" (Hungary), the festival of sacred music (Poland), the festival of chamber music (Belarus), the international festival "Music in Old Lviv" (Lviv), the All-Ukrainian festival "Bukovyna November" (Chernivtsi), the International Festival of Chamber Music "Khmelnytsky Chamber Fest" (Khmelnytsky), All-Ukrainian Festival "Prykarpattya Spring" (Ivano-Frankivsk) and others. In 2013, the ensemble recorded a CD "Bouquet of Flowers".

Uzhgorod citizens and guests of our city will be able to hear the best of the "Flautando" trio in their "Bouquet of Flowers" program. The musical "bouquet" will be comprised of works by Blum, Kummer, Carulli, Rossini, Müller, Briccialdi, Mozart, Vivaldi. The beginning is at 18.30. The concert will be held within the framework of the VI International Festival "Music Without Borders", which is currently taking place at the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic.
