“Inspector. Cities” will tell whether Uzhgorod deserves the title of a European city (ANNOUNCEMENT)

Today, at 22.00, the premiere of the second season of one of the most awaited projects of the new TV season will take place on the "1+1" channel.

The first city in the series of inspections of the new TV host will be Uzhgorod. Volodymyr Ostapchuk will find out whether the European quality standards are respected in the border city and what prevents Uzhgorod from becoming a "tourist Mecca".

Volodymyr Ostapchuk, together with a team of secret agents, will check the well-known Western Ukrainian supermarket chain, a maternity hospital and a boarding school for hearing impaired children. The host will not only inspect the city for six criteria – medicine, education, security, elite, food and services, – but also tell the impressive stories of the residents, who have appealed to the project team with problems that need urgent resolution.

One of them was the tragedy that occurred in the maternity hospital. A young woman pregnant with twins died, and her family accused the chief physician. Volodymyr Ostapchuk and the project team will conduct a real investigation to find out who is really responsible for the tragedy.

One of the most emotional moments for Volodymyr Ostapchuk during the shooting in Uzhgorod was the inspection of the boarding school for hearing impaired children, during which he could barely hold tears.

Under the terms of the project, the establishments providing high quality services will be awarded with the plaque "Pride of the City", and those, whose work needs improvement, will be marked as "Shame of the City". In the new season, the latter will get a second chance.
