Information for tourists (PHOTOS)

This season, Transcarpathian rescuers have searched for dozens of tourists lost in the Carpathians, in particular, skiers. Unfortunately, there have been some tragic incidents.  

"Photos from yesterday’s search and rescue works on the Hoverla. Fortunately, this time everything went well, and a boy and a girl stayed alive, although they will have to spend some time under the care of doctors.

So if you are going to conquer mountains, remember:

✔ warm clothes and shoes, not summer sneakers;

✔ proper equipment, not an empty backpack;

✔ registration with rescuers, not relying on higher powers;

✔ skiing or snowboarding – only on designated tracks"

These are simple but incredibly important pieces of advice are shared from the press service of Rescue Service in Transcarpathian region. And although this season is almost over, the mountains remain dangerous throughout the year.
