Yesterday, at 19:51, the police received an anonymous report that in the village of Veryatsya in Vynogradiv district, a road accident with victims had occurred, – the Mukachevo.net informed.
According to the spokeswoman of the Transcarpathian regional police Tetyana Shchogoleva, the investigative team and the response group of the patrol police immediately arrived at the scene.
There, they found out that on Holovna street, the driver of a car Lada lost control, hit a pedestrian, and ran into a post. The car was driven by a man born in 1969, a resident of the village of Korolevo.
As a result of the accident, a woman born in 1969, local resident, received injuries incompatible with life.
In addition, there was a minor resident of Korolevo in the car. He was taken to the hospital with a head injury.
The driver was tested for alcohol content in the blood, and 0.7 ppm of alcohol was found.
The car was taken to the impound lot, and a proceeding was opened over the accident under Part 2 of Art. 286 of the CCU. The man was arrested in accordance with Art. 208.
