In the Uzhanskyi National Park near the village of Kostryno in Velyky Berezny district, forset litter caught fire, the press service of the State Emrgencies Service reported.
The report of the incident was received yesterday, April 23, at 13:56. Officers of the Rescue Service were immediately sent at the scene.
Foresters helped to extinguish the fire. The fire was extinguished in an hour, but it had destroyed the forest litter over an area of 0.2 hectares. There were no reports of victims. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
