Out of 46 specialties in UzhNU, 39 were accredited at the fourth level, which is 84.8%. This was announced at the meeting of the Academic Council of UzhNU by Fedir Shandor, the Vice Rector for teaching and educational work of UzhNU.
According to the decision of the Accreditation Commission of December 27, 2013, UzhNU for the third time was accredited as a IV level higher educational establishment.
Fedir Shandor also said that due to the fact that the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education" does not provide for such levels of higher education as specialist and associate specialist, the next year, there will be licensing for "Master" level on such specialties as German and French language and literature, applied linguistics, sociology, practical psychology; urban construction and management, pharmacy.
Last year, UzhNU for the first time received licenses for training of interns on specialties of "Pharmacy", "Medicine", "Stomatology" and training of specialists in clinical studies on specialties of "Medicine", "Stomatology".
Reference. Today, UzhNU trains specialists on 43 areas, 50 specialties on "Specialist" level and 42 specialties on "Master" level. In addition, at the University College of Natural Sciences and Humanities, associate specialists on 8 specialties are trained.
