The initiative to arrange a square near the Greek Catholic Cathedral on Kapitulna street, which is a symbol of the city, and to name it after Bachynsky was expressed in Uzhgorod long ago.
Owners even gave some land plots for this plan. Projects for arrangement of the square have also been developed. Now the city has decided to do everything in accordance with the procedure and announces a contest for the project – anyone can submit their ideas.
