In Uzhgorod, the majority of unemployed are women

In the first nine months of this year, 3,436 citizens were registered in Uzhgorod city employment center, 2,147 of which were unemployed persons.

Of those, 65% were women. One in five of the registered unemployed have been unable to find a job for over a year. Since the beginning of the year, 723 unemployed persons have found jobs in the city.

68 unemployed were engaged in public works, namely cleaning in the city.
