In Uzhgorod, the city utilities are planting flowers and urge townspeople and visitors to cherish the beauty (PHOTOS)

On the Zupanat hill, from the rock garden to the "Owl’s Nest" in Uzhgorod, railings are decorated with boxes with pelargoniums.
Overall, this spring, they have planted about 800 flowers of begonias, pelargoniums, aeratums, petunias. Also, 12,000 tulips, which were planted last autumn, are blooming in the city. For comparison, in 2015, about 4 thousand tulips were planted.
The enterprise "UzhAgromix" also plans to plant later 10 to 15 thousand summer and autumn flowers – salvias, marigolds, aeratums, dahlias. This is almost twice as many as in the previous year.
Unfortunately, thefts and barbaric defloration have become a bad tradition. Uzhgorod residents and visitors are kindly asked not to destroy the beautiful flowers.
