In Uzhgorod, students are gathering information on the operation of public transport

Since March 7, a comprehensive survey of passenger traffic on city bus routes has been carried out in Uzhgorod. According to the contract with the executive committee of the Uzhgorod City Council, the survey is being carried out by students of the Uzhgorod National University.

Based ion the survey, the information on the number of transported passengers (including students), suggestions for optimizing the route network of the city will be accumulated; calculation of the annual volume of traffic for each route will be made.

Also, based on the results of the work, during the drawing up of the conditions for the next tender for passenger transportation, consideration will be given to the need for adjusting the timetables for each route (start and end time, number of runs per certain hours of the day, interval during rush hour), etc.
