In Uzhgorod, scammers were begging causing people’s pity with fictional illnesses

Two women, one of whom was in a wheelchair, would often stand in the center of Uzhgorod and ask for alms.

District police officer Ivan Biletsky told that on the pedestrian bridge in Uzhgorod, two women pretend to be disabled and beg for money, although they are completely healthy.

Ivan Biletsky wrote about this on his Facebook page. It turned out that this is a simple description of the abdominal cavity ultrasound scan of one of the women.

"When I asked the woman in the wheelchair to bring the disabled certificate or related documentation the next day, she disappeared. I’ve been waiting for two weeks now. But so far, I’ve seen neither her nor the promised documents," – Ivan Biletsky wrote.

During the conversation, Mr. Ivan found oud that the second woman never worked anywhere.

"They rented an apartment in Uzhgorod and were making good money on people’s kindness!" – Mr. Ivan added.
