On the morning of October 29, in Uzhgorod, at the Office of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine ine Transcarpathian region, there was a training on the signal "Assembly-accident". The signal concerned the staff of the Office and the logistics unit.
The assembly was announced at 6:30 am. The main purpose of these exercises is to maintain combat and professional readiness of the personnel to performance of the tasks. According to the regulations, during after hours, the time for arrival to the place of assembly for members of the mobile task force is 50 minutes, residents of Uzhgorod – 1 hour, and residents of adjacent distirct – 1.5 hour.
The drill inspection of the personnel was conducted personally by the Deputy Head of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region Gleb Burkovsky. He checked the presence of the rescuers, their appearance and completeness of the emergency kits.
The results of the drill showed that the personnel of the State Emergencies Service Office is ready for action in emergency situations and performance of tasks.
