The incident happened last night at a gas station in the village of Mynai, in Uzhgorod district. The attackers were found by law enforcement officers.
According to the official site of the Transcarpathian regional police, on October 20, the police received from an anonymous person the report about a crime at a gas station in the village of Mynai.
“Upon arriving at the scene, the police found out that the victim was a 61-year-old taxi driver. The man reported that he had been attacked by three unknown women that he was driving. The clients inflicted injuries to the driver and took the documents,” – the statement reads.
It is also noted that investigators classified the incident under Article 187 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, ie robbery.
“Officers of the Patrol Police Department in Transcarpathian region found the women involved in the robbery. They were two resident of Uzhgorod, aged 32 and 36, as well as a 39-year-old resident of the village of Kontsovo, Uzhgorod district,” – the Communication Department of the Transcarpathian regional police reported.
Also, law enforcement officers informed that material evidence had been confiscated from the women. Now they are facing criminal responsibility for their actions.
