Over the past day, officers of the Transcarpathian Patrol Police documented cases of driving under the influence of alcohol in Uzhgorod, Tyachiv, Beregovo, Khust districts.
In the village of Serednye in Uzhgorod district, officers of the patrol police stopped a car Volkswagen Golf after noticing a child in the front seat. The car was driven by a resident of Mukachevo district, and another child and the driver’s wife were inside. The police officers intended to warn the driver, since it is forbidden to drive young children in the front seat. However, it turned out that the man was in a state of intoxication. During the test, 1.2 ppm of alcohol was found in his blood, and the policemen in the presence of witnesses drew up the appropriate report of administrative offense and seized the driver’s license.
In the village of Sokyrnytsia, Khust district, at night, police officers stopped a car Audi with one headlight off. The car was driven by a resident of the village of Krainykovo, who was in a state of intoxication. During the test, 1.08 ppm of alcohol was found in his blood, and the policemen in the presence of witnesses drew up the appropriate report of administrative offense and seized the driver’s license.
In the village of Kalyny, Tyachiv district, tofficers of the Dubove Patrol Police Department stopped a car Volkswagen Jetty, which was making strange maneuvers. The car was driven by a local resident in the state of alcohol intoxication. Drager showed 3.38 ppm of alcohol in his blood. The driver also did not have a driver’s license. In Beregovo, officers of the Patrol Police Response Team stopped an unregistered motorcycle Delta, the driver of which had caused a dangerous situation on the road. It was driven by a local resident who did not have any documents and was in a state of intoxication. He refused to undergo medical examination. The police officers in the presence of two witnesses drew up appropriate administrative reports against the offender for driving under the influence of alcohol and without driver’s license.
The reports of administrative offenses against both offenders under Art. 130 of the CAO (Driving a vehicle by a person who is in a state of alcohol intoxication) will be forwarded to the court for making a final decision.
