In Uzhgorod, a young man was shot in a nightclub

On the night of Thursday, February 15, an incident with a weapon occurred in one of the night entertainment establishments of the city.

The police received a report about a gunshot wound from doctors who had hospitalized the young man.

The investigation team of the Uzhgorod Police Department arrived at the scene. Law enforcement officers found out that the victim, a 24-year-old resident of Uzhgorod, had been shot in one of Uzhgorod’s nightclubs. 

The police opened a criminal proceeding over the incident under Part 4 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is, hooliganism using weapons.

The investigation continues. Law enforcers are identifying the people involved in this crime – the police of Transcarpathia informed.
