In Uzhgorod, a woman robbed a taxi driver

Yesterday, November 30, a local taxi driver reported a robbery to Uzhgorod police. The 24-year-old man said that an unknown person had taken money and a radio station from him. It happened on November 28 around midnight. 

On that night, on Lev Tolstoy street in Uzhgorod, three unknown men and a woman opened the victim’s car "Volkswagen Passat". The woman took from the car 970 hryvnia and a Kenwood radio station. The amount of damage was 1770 hryvnia. 

The police opened a criminal proceeding under Article 186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is, robbery. The person suspected of committing the offense was quickly identified and found. The robber was a 52-year-old resident of the village of Baranyntsi. The police have already received the evidence in the case and continue the investigation. The choice of pre-trial restraint against the suspect is currently being decided.
