Officers of the Uzhgorod Police Department re-classified the criminal proceeding over causing bodily harm and notified a resident of Perechyn district that he is suspected of rape and causing severe bodily harm to a woman.
Yesterday, on March 22, after carrying out all the necessary investigative actions, officers of Uzhgorod Police Department documented the involvement of a 24-year-old resident of the village of Dubrynychi in Perechyn district in two grave crimes. The man has already been notified of being suspected of committing offenses under Art. 121 of the CCU and 152 of the CCU, that is, causing serious bodily harm and rape. The police re-classified the criminal proceeding over battery into more severe: from Art. 125 of the CCU at the beginning of the investigation to Art. 121 of the CCU. The sanction of the article provides for up to eight years imprisonment. The court imposed on him a pre-trial restraint in the form of detention. The suspect was placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation continues.
Recall that on February 25 in Uzhgorod, a 24-year-old girl was attacked by her lodger. The man hit her in the face, and when the victim fell, he hit her five more times. After that, he raped the victim.
