In Uzhgorod, a man was using a fake ID

Forged IDs are used not only by people of the retirement age, but by unemployed people too.

In Uzhgorod, at the railway station, a man with a forged identity card was found. When boarding the train number 6520 "Uzhgorod – Mukachevo", the man presented the ID of a railway worker for free travel.

Controllers had doubts about the validity of this ID, because inscriprions were shifted and colors were fuzzy. They called the police. Officers of the transport police invited the man to the police station. The citizen was a 39-year-old resident of Transcarpathian region.

At the police station, the man confessed that he had forged the ID for the purpose of free travel.

Employees of the railways appeal to citizens: "do not try to forge IDs. You may manage to save on travel several times, but eventually you will have to answer under the law."
