The man attacked the pensioner, hit him several times and stole a purse with a mobile phone and money. On the same day, the attacker was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
He is currently being held in a temporary detention facility. The pre-trial restraint in the form of detention is to be imposed on the suspect.
He faces imprisonment for a term of 3 to 7 years, according to the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office in Transcarpathian region.
