In Uzhgorod, a grug den was eliminated

An Uzhgorod resident arranged a place for fans of drugs right in his apartment.

During the special operation "Bathyscaphe", officers of the sector to combat drug trafficking of Uzhgorod city police found a drug den in an apartment of a high-rise on Jambul street in Uzhgorod. The 42-year-old owner of the appartment has had criminal records for offenses related to drug trafficking. But he has not mended his ways.

The man was making a narcotic substance of codeine in his kitchen out of various medications. At the scene, the police found syringes with ready to use drugs, medicines and supplies that the drug dealer used for production of the "potion".

According to the man, he was making codeine for himself. All the found evidence was sent for examination. Criminal proceedings over this incident have been initiated. The investigation is ongoing, all the circumstances of the incident are being established.
