For the sixth time sonorous voices of the children have sounded among the high mountains and vast plains of Transcarpathian Rakhiv. It is here with the assistance of MP Vasyl Petevka the forth District Children’s Festival-contest of pop song "Over Tysa" Took place.
In the district centre of children and adolescent creativity, young talents were competing in three age categories – junior, middle and older. First on stage the youngest participants of the festival performed, and the most gifted voices there were among the middle age category. They sang about the flowers, summer and stars, a native land and victory in the war, even about kitty-Murchik, princes and weddings. All contestants received certificates, and three bronze and silver medalists were awarded with cell phones by the general sponsor of the festival Vasil Petevka. Three musical centers were taken home by the children who took the first places.
The best of the best became the 12-year-old Svetlana Andrusiak from Velyky Bychkiv, who received Grand Prix. Her song "I’ll draw stars for you" got all the "tens" from the jury and won the hearts of the audience. The girl says she went to the competition not to win, but to sing for people. She hadn’t expected to receive such a gift and now she may often listen to favorite songs by Ani Lorak, whose works she is so fond of.
