In Transcarpathia, there is a Ukrainian-Slovak “Summer School in Nature”

The first in Transcarpathia "Summer School in Nature," which lasted ten days at the Turya-Remety secondary school, has finished. The project initiator and organizer of the opening of the summer camp was Association of Slovaks in Transcarpathia supported by the Foreign Slovaks Department.

The president of the Association Balanko Valeriya said that they were pursuing a certain goal – recreation of children during the summer holidays and learning with in-depth study of the Slovak language. They engaged a lecturer in Slovak language and children from Slovakia. In the camp there were 38 disadvantaged children: 20 – from Storozhnytsya, 2 – from Serednye, 2 – from Uzhgorod, 9 – from Turya-Remety, and 5 – from Slovakia, the press service Perechyn District Council reported.

In addition to training, there was bathing in Lumshory vats and swimming in pools of the Tourist Complex "Voyevodyno", a tour of Transcarpathia, tourist competitions in the "Roztoky" and "Diravy Kamin" tract, as well as a master class in dancing and "origami" making, drawing "in nature" – the meeting with the artist.
