In Transcarpathia, the preliminary investigation against the corrupted military commissar is completed

Military prosecutors accused the head of the military commissariat in Transcarpathia of receiving undue advantage for the release from draft under mobilization

Uzhgorod garrison military prosecutor’s office completed the pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings on charges against the military commissar of a military commissariat in Transcarpathian region for a criminal offense under Part 3 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (obtaining undue advantage by an official with extortion of undue advantage).

Military prosecutors during the preliminary investigation found out that the major had demanded and received undue advantage in the amount of US $ 500 for exemption of a citizen from military service under mobilization.

According to the military prosecutor in Western Ukraine Oleg Seniuk, the indictment was submitted to Irshava district court in Transcarpathian region for consideration on the merits.
