The regional program to ensure public participation in the formulation and implementation of state policy and public opinion study in 2015 – 2018 was approved in Transcarpathia.
The program envisages the development of effective mechanisms for partnership between the state and civil society institutions, improvement of state and local governments activities, ensuring of transparency and openness of their activities, citizens’ participation in management of public affairs, improvement of the quality of decision-making on important matters of state and public life.
It is proposed to allocate nearly two million hryvnias for the implementation of the program for the next four years. In addition to seminars and trainings, it is planned to spend money for the legal and logistical support of the Public Council at the Regional State Administration and organization of sociological studies of public opinion in order to develop and address issues of socio-economic, innovation development of Transcarpathia and the activities of local executive bodies and local self-government authorities.
