In Transcarpathia, student competitions in the 2020-2021 academic year have been canceled

The relevant decision was made by the Department of Education and Science of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration after a public discussion. 
The press service of the Department of Education and Science notes that due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation in Transcarpathia, it was decided to conduct public discussion on the feasibility of holding the second and third stages of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiads, including language and literature ones. 
The public discussion was attended by teachers, students, parents of 551 educational institutions of Transcarpathia, most of whom agreed on inadvisability of holding the second, third stages of competitions and contests in the 2020-2021 academic year.
