In Transcarpathia, more than two and a half thousand institutions report to the public about the use of budget funds

On Wednesday, May 11, representatives of the main managers and recipients of funds of the regional and district budgets of Transcarpathia took part in the workshop aimed to teach how to work on the official web portal of the public funds use "E-Data."

The portal allows the public to obtain accurate information on government transactions and makes the use of public funds transparent. Every citizen can easily and free of charge track payments made by public authorities and enterprises, as well as the recipients of funds, their purpose and amounts in real time.

The Deputy Head of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration Oleksandr Petik opened the workshop and welcomed the participants. He stressed the importance of the introduction of the revolutionary IT platform, which is a tool for fighting corruption and wished the civil servants fruitful work.

  "Now in Transcarpathia, 25 percent of public institutions – more than two and a half thousand – have registered on the portal E-Data and almost all them are reporting.   We wanted to understand the problem issues and to train managers and recipients of budget funds to use the new tool for information publishing", – the project coordinator of the E-Data, representative of the MOF Anastasia Rozlutska said.

  During the workshop, the participants learned how to use the public funds portal, register "e-offices" in it and publish information on reports and contracts.
