Yesterday, border guards of the Chop detachment together with customs workers found 190 packages of sterile needles for mesotherapy that a citizen of Ukraine tried to carry across the border concealed from customs control.
Thus, a minibus "Mercedes" driven by a 37-year-old Ukrainian arrived at the checkpoint "Tisa" to enter Ukraine. The man said that he was not carrying any goods across the border. However, based on risk analysis, law enforcement officers suspected that he was lying.
Thus, as a result of in-depth inspection, border guards found on the floor of the luggage compartment of the vehicle three cardboard boxes with 190 packages of needles for mesotherapy.
Currently, the found products were seized, and relevant administrative documents were drawn up against the offender.
