In Transcarpathia, border guards detained illegals from Serbia

"Today, a foreign-registered truck driven by a citizen of Serbia arrived at the checkpoint "Dyakove". At the checkpoint, the border guards noticed a damaged trailer tent. During the in-depth inspection, it turned out that two unknown persons were hiding among the cargo", – the border guards inform.

The Asian men said that they were Bangladesh citizens. When detained by Ukrainian border guards, the foreigners were surprised and confused, and later they told that they tried to get to France from the territory of Serbia.

"At the moment, the investigation into the offense is under way, and after prosecution for the attempt to illegally cross the border, the foreigners will be handed over to Romanian law-enforcers in accordance with the readmission agreement," – the statement reads.
