In Transcarpathia, border guards detained a truck stolen in Germany

Yesterday, border guards of the department "Tisa" of the Chop detachment detained a truck, that was wanted internationally as stolen.

Thus, during the check of the documents for a truck "Iveco" made in 2007 with Ukrainian registration, following from Ukraine to Hungary, the "Interpol" database sent an alert. The truck was driven by a citizen of Ukraine born in 1967. Later, during the inspection, border guards found out that the vehicle had been stolen in Germany in late July.

Border guards informed the duty officer of the Ukrainian Interpol Bureau in the city of Kyiv. Currently, the vehicle was handed over to officers of the National Police in Transcarpathian region.
