In Transcarpathia. border guards detained a Syrian and a Gambian who were making their way to the EU

In the area of the Chop border guard detachment, officers of the "Uzhgorod" unit detained two men who were heading to the EU.

One of them was noticed in Uzhgorod. He was a citizen of Syria. The man had a certificate of permanent residence in Moldova. During the conversation at the border guard station he said that he intended to go to Western Europe. The documents of an administrative offense were drawn up against him.

Another offender was detained near Uzhgorod.   The man was detained as he was heading to the border. The detainee had no ID but he said that he was a citizen of Gambia.
