In Transcarpathia, attackers wanted to damage bank property

Five unknown people tried to damage part of decorative metal fence on the facade of one of the banks in Uzhgorod, but they were noticed by a police officer

The policeman, who at that time was on duty in the financial institution, said:

– About 17.00, a group of unknown persons came up to the bank building. They were boys aged about 18 years. First, they stopped at the facade, which caught my attention right away. For a few minutes, the unknown persons were standing there lookin around, and then started breaking the fence. I called the police station. In a few minutes, the police detention group arrived.

The young hooligans, for unknown reasons, tried to damage part of a decorative metal fence on the facade. They tried to pull out a metal rod similar to a lightning rod, but the officers of the detention group stopped the young offenders in time. By the way, they were Uzhhorod residents aged 15 to 18 years.

To clarify the circumstances, the investigative team of Uzhgorod city police was called at the scene.

The amount of damages is being established.
