Yesterday the Deputy Chief of Security Service of the control station "Dubrynichi" of the subsidiary "Prykarpatzakhidtrans-naftoproduct" reported to Perechyn police officers that during the inspection of the line in a field in the tract Ivanchivsky potik near the village of Kostryno in Velyky Berezny district he had found a tie-in in the pipe of 500 mm diameter of the main oil pipeline owned by "Yugo-Zapad" JSC (Russia). A valve of 25 mm in diameter was welded to the pipeline, and a high pressure hose leading toward the village of Kostryno was threaded to the valve. There are no oil leaks at the scene. There are no threats to the environment.
